Betty Peppers-Burris' Obituary
Betty Jane Peppers-Burris, 85 years old was born November 24th 1933 in Bixby, Oklahoma to her parents John and Mary Wiggins. She resided in Broken Arrow and passed away November 17th 2019 at home. She graduated Sapulpa High School. She married Jim Peppers July 1st, 1955. She was a loving wife and homemaker. She was president of the PTA and worked for Campfire girls. She also worked as a security dispatcher at ORU. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and Her Husband James Hugh Peppers and Billy C Burris. Her sister Carol Caskey, and two grandchildren Hannah Peppers and Jay Thomas Peppers. She is Survived by her children Sharon and Randy Carroll, Mike and Janet Peppers, and Keith Peppers. Her siblings Erma and Gene Hall, and John Wiggins. Her Grandchildren Holly and Justin Eckler, Brooke and Tim Furgerson, Andrew Peppers, Josh Peppers, Rebekah Peppers and Patrick Kays, Sarah Peppers and Emily Peppers. Her Great Grandchildren Kaylee and Gabriel Eckler, Hannah Furgerson and Lauren Furgerson. The family of Betty Peppers Burris acknowledges with profound appreciation in the many cards, flowers, personal kindness, prayer and other expressions of love and sympathy during these hours of bereavement.
