Betty Nadine Powers' Obituary
Betty Nadine Powers, age 82, passed away on January 21, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Betty was born January 1, 1932 in Cromwell, Oklahoma to her parents, William and Minnie Hulsey. She was the 5th born out of 7 children. Betty attended her general education at Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After her graduation, she worked as a bookkeeper but also cherished her being a homemaker. Betty married William H. Powers on July 22, 1950 and they shared a wonderful marriage together. Together they spent much of their time in the involvement of the Elks Lodge Auxillary, but Betty loved spend her time cooking, knitting, reading, and enjoying her family. She was a compassionate and loving woman who will be missed dearly by her family. Betty was preceded by her husband, William Powers, and her son, Terry Michael Powers. Betty is survived by her three sons, Gary H. Powers, Jason T. Powers, and Jonathan D. Powers, and her one brother, Billy Hulsey.
