Betty L Reid's Obituary
Betty Lois Reid, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2012 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Betty was born on April 27, 1928 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to beloved mother Lorena Gilliland Camp and father William Darnell.. She married the love of her life, Everett T. Reid on June 1, 1946. They spent many proud years in Bartlesville, Oklahoma raising their two children Betty 'Sue' Crihfield and Everett 'Ted' Reid Jr.. They spent their later years together living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Throughout her life she enjoyed camping and fishing with any and all family that would join her. Nothing made her happier than being surrounded by her family. She also loved working in her yard and gardening. Betty is survived by her daughter, Betty Crihfield of Bartlesville, daughter-in-law Vickie Reid of Tulsa; 5 grandchildren, Bobby Crihfield, Donna and Mike Florence, all of Bartlesville, Dana and Reverend James Kastl of Auckland, New Zealand, Susan and William Boyd, and Hope Reid all from Tulsa. She was blessed with 7 great grandchildren; Heather and Stephen Land, Ochelata, Brandy Kastl , Randal Florence, Austin and Becca Kastl, all of Bartlesville, Jordan Kastl, Tahlequah, Reid and Nathan Boyd, both of Tulsa. Three great, great-grandchildren, Travis Kastl, Ariana Kastl, and Soren Florence, all of Bartlesville. One sister, Joan Britt of Kansas, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her mother Lorena Camp, her father Bill Darnell, her husband Everett Reid the light of her life, their precious son Everett 'Ted' Reid Jr., son-in-law Robert L. Crihfield. as well as her Aunt Ruby Evans and many other aunts and uncles. Betty's Going Home Celebration will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2012 at Floral Haven, 6500 S. 129th East Avenue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Reverend Bill Storie will be officiating the service. Family will be receiving friends from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, May3, 2012 at Floral Haven.
