Betty Jane Roberts' Obituary
Betty Jane (Dennis) Roberts Betty Roberts, 90, died the 26th of October, 2014. She was a retired executive assistant with Willbros Butler Engineers. She was born in Chicago on June 2, 1924, and lived 4 years on the Mississippi coast before moving to Tulsa in 1940. Betty graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1942. She was predeceased by: her husband of 46 years, Fred E. Roberts; parents, Lawrence and Jessie Dennis; and brothers, Walter and Robert. She’s survived by: her son, Bob Roberts; two grandchildren, Melanie Harbison and Amanda Howell; and four great-grandchildren, Alex, Jonathan, Abbigail, and Kristine, all of the Tulsa area. She volunteered with American Red Cross, and the Tulsa City-County Library. Burial will be at Floral Haven Cemetery, services are private. Betty was a lifelong fan of the Oz Story Collection, and has finally seen “over the rainbow”.
