Betty Williamson's Obituary
Betty June Williamson, 89 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, December 6, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born June 8, 1931 in Stigler, Oklahoma to her parents, Thomas Melvin Brazeal and Geneva Rebeca Hick Brazeal. She married the love of her life, James Williamson in 1947 and they shared in over 67 wonderful years together before his passing in 2014.
Betty is survived by her three children, Jim D. Williamson and his wife Carol of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Kathryn R. Strong and her husband, Rev. Ernest Strong of Jacksonville, Florida and Diane Lynn Thomas and her husband Rick of Oologah, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, David, Nicholas, Aaron, Amanda, Emily, Adam, Shari and Joe; twelve great-grandchildren and a host of friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Geneva Brazeal; her husband, James Williamson; two sisters, Marjorie Goodwin and Mary Lou Buttram; and two brothers, JD Brazeal and Elvin Roy Brazeal.
Visitation will be held from 1-6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
