Bettye Hess' Obituary
Bettye Laverne Hess, 83 of Collinsville, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, November 2, 2020 in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was born February 28, 1937 in Cowlington, Oklahoma, born to Cecil Calvin Deason and Lois Exine Berkley Deason. She married the love of her life, Roy Hess on March 18, 1963 in Miami, Oklahoma and they have shared in over 57 wonderful years, making memories together.
Bettye is survived by her loving husband Roy Hess of the home; three children, Ralph Fowler of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Teresa Fowler-Yager and her husband Randy of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Tami Applegarth and her husband Ollie of Collinsville, Oklahoma; seven siblings, JD Deason and his wife Shirley, Garry Deason, Vernon Deason and his wife Juanita, Buel Deason and his wife Sandy, Nettie Hoffman and her husband Vernon, Beverly Rogers and Kathey Brown and her husband David; four grandchildren, Philip Fowler and his wife Shannon, Jaime Middlekauff and her husband Joshua, Janell Milan, Luke Cowden and his wife Leah, Ashley Applegarth and Adam Applegarth; eight great-grandchildren, Cade Cowden, Claire Cowden, Bailey Ward, Jason Ward, Aiden Milan, Andrew Pickham, Alex Pickham, Zachary Pickham and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Lois Deason; and seven siblings, Etheline Phelps, Calvin Deason, Ray Deason, Roy Deason and Bruce Deason, Raymond Deason, and Freda Deason.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2448 E 81st St #3000, Tulsa, OK 74137.
