Beverly G. Keeler, 74, of Tulsa, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, October 20, 2014. She was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on March 1, 1940. She graduated from Shidler High School, then earned her Associate’s Degree from Northern Oklahoma College, in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She was the first person in her family to earn a degree. She had worked for Arvest Bank as a loan originator for nearly 40 years. Beverly was a devoted mother who sacrificed for her children. Her world revolved around her grandchildren. She was everyone’s Mimi, as she was kind and loving to everyone she met. She had a heart for the Jewish plight, and many say she is the closest example to Christ they know. She always had kind words to offer. Beverly enjoyed volunteering in the church nursery since the 1990’s. She loved holding and caring for the babies. She also enjoyed traveling, taking trips around America. She had been to nearly all fifty states. Beverly is survived by her daughters, Lisa Keeler, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Tracy Ridings, and son in law, Charles, of Zionsville, Indiana, son, Scott Keeler, of Ralston, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Forrest, Chase, Brett, and Paige Ridings, and Edward Keeler, sisters, Billie Hubbard, and her husband, Joe, Sr., of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Susan Burgess, of Foyil, Oklahoma, and Linda Burgess, of Claremore, Oklahoma, brother, Mike Burgess, and his wife, Nancy, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rowena Burgess, step-father, Al Burgess, and father, William Laye.
