Beverly Ann Hammer's Obituary
Beverly Ann Hammer was born on June 22, 1952 in Joplin, Missouri to Jack and Betty Mason. She was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was the first of 3 daughters. She attended East Central High School and then Tulsa Cosmetology School. She earned a cosmetology degree and owned her own salon for many years. Later, she began a second career with AT&T Wireless as a Customer Service Manager. She retired January 15, 2015 after working there for 10 years. She lived in Owasso, Oklahoma but spent the last 19 months in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She read the Bible often and was non-judgmental, kind, and optimistic. She also loved shopping on QVC, singing, watching old “I Love Lucy” reruns, and playing her favorite hymns on the piano. The most important events in her life were the births of each of her 5 grandchildren. During her retirement she tried to visit her grandchildren as much as possible and was known for spoiling them whenever she came. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Rich Honn and Angela Fangmeier of Siloam Springs, AR; daughter and son-in-law Kim and Sean Doran of Phoenix, AZ; mother Betty Mason of Owasso, OK; sister Sue Derickson of Owasso, OK; sister Jane Wilson of Enid, OK; and grandchildren Connor Stacey, Christine Honn, Ryan Honn, Cody Doran, and Kyle Honn.
