Beverly Ann Mello's Obituary
Beverly Ann Mello – 85, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend; born into the world Tuesday, December 22, 1931 in Attleboro, Massachusetts to her loving parents, James & Agnus Lyle. Passed from her earthly life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side. Born and raised in Attleboro, Massachusetts, Beverly worked as a nurse for many years until her retirement. Beverly always gave of herself and was dedicated to serving others, spending many days cooking and feeding the local fire fighters who were always eternally grateful. She also would dedicate a great deal of time to the local food bank in her community. In her free time Beverly enjoyed many things such as crocheting, attending church and cheering for her two favorite teams the Dallas Cowboys and the Boston Red Sox. What Beverly was truly passionate about was her family that she loved so dearly. Fond memories will always be cherished of Beverly, especially of her devotion as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother and how she made sure to call everyone on their birthday. She will be deeply missed by all those who had their lives touched by her. Beverly is preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty years, Tony Mello and her loving parents, James & Agnus Lyle. Beverly is survived by her four loving children, Michael Curato & wife Becky, Kristine “Kris” Pound, Salvatore Curato & Cecilia Cook and Lisa Spears & husband Mark; her seven precious grandchildren; her three adored great grandchildren; her dearly loved sister, Midge Bray and numerous other loving family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 at 10:00AM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in the Main Chapel.
