Beverly Kay Rogers, beloved mother, and grandmother, passed away on February 9th, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the tender age of 73. Born on October 6, 1950, in Tulsa to her loving parents Cecil and Lois Deason, Beverly's life was a testament to resilience, warmth, and love.
Beverly's professional journey was marked by her commitment to the restaurant industry, where she served in management roles at Dolly Madison Bakery and Wendy’s. Her passion for hospitality and dedication to her work endeared her to colleagues and customers alike.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Beverly found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a knack for quilting, finding solace and creativity in the intricate designs she crafted. Family members close to Beverly, will now cherish the quilts that she has made for them. She also had a spirited love for gambling, dominos, and 5 crowns card games, often engaging in lively matches that stretched into the late hours of the night. Beverly's adventurous spirit led her to explore the beauty of the west coast and embark on memorable cruises that filled her heart with joy and wonder.
She was one of 15 children, a testament to the vibrant and close-knit family she cherished. Known for her feisty demeanor, Beverly's presence lit up any room she entered, leaving an indelible mark on those around her.
As the only "Nana," Beverly played a pivotal role in the lives of her grandchildren, offering them unwavering love, guidance, and support as she helped raise them into the remarkable individuals they are today.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband Daniel “Buddy” Rogers; and 11 siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Sheila Rogers of Broken Arrow, Shenna Franklin of Broken Arrow, Charles Franklin and his wife Trish of Tulsa; grandchildren Misti Rogers, Tommy Rogers, Lacey Rogers, Cassidy Armentrout, Carly Franklin, Madison Franklin, Coen Franklin, Caden Franklin; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings Nettie Hoffman and her husband Vernon of Collinsville, Buel Deason and his wife Sandy of Owasso, and Kathey Brown of Tulsa; along with many other friends and family who will cherish the memories they made.
Beverly Kay Rogers will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her memory will be honored at a memorial service on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Floral Haven’s Rose Chapel at 11:00AM, where Pastor James Lacey will officiate, celebrating a life well-lived and a legacy of love that will endure for generations to come.
