Bhanumati Shah's Obituary
On June 21, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bhanumati Shah was freed from pain and suffering from long term illness.
Bhanumati was born on September 22, 1938 in Mumbai, India. She studied and grew up in Mumbai. As the only child in her family, she was very close to her parents. After her study, her parents decided to find the perfect husband for her, and that's when she met the young and handsome Shantilal. After meeting with all the family members, both families decided to tie their knots on May 13th, 1955. After marriage, she traveled and lived in Mumbai, Surendranagar and Ahmedabad. Their love for one another will live on through years to come.
They were blessed with three lovely children; Paresh, Sangeet and Kalpesh. Once all the children were married, Bhanumati moved to the USA on April 19, 1994 with her husband. She bravely faced any and all challenges while living in the USA away from her children. She loved watching Indian TV shows for hours and loved feeding her grandkids. She was a great cook and she was a very strong believer of Jain religion.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Paresh, Sangeet and Kalpesh in addition to her daughters-in-law Kavita and Bina, her son-in-law RajeshKumar and her grandchildren Vidhi, Jay, Unnati, Siddhi, Rushabh, Zeel and Prit. She was fortunate to meet, enjoy and play with her favorite great grandson Vidhaan.
