Bill D. Heller's Obituary
Bill D. Heller, 77, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, February 15, 2020. He was born October 26, 1942 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to his parents, Charles A. Heller and Lucille Lester Heller. He married the love of his life, Linda Kay Harrison on January 24, 1962 in Pawnee, Oklahoma and they have shared in over 58 beautiful years together.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Linda Heller of the home; one son, Randy Heller and his wife Lisa of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Amanda Keller and her husband Tommy of Goldsby, Oklahoma and Jessica Meyer and her husband Joshua of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren, Jaxon Keller, Boston Keller and Ellie Meyer, with another baby girl expected in July; and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lucille Heller; one son, Brian Keith Heller and four siblings.
Bill graduated from Northeastern State University with his wife, Linda. He then began his work with the Public Service of Oklahoma as an engineer. After multiple years, he and Linda began operations of Shadow Valley Mobile Home Park where they worked together daily for thirty years (and one day) until retirement.
Bill was a known jokester with a love of making people laugh. His kind heart and fun personality were admirable. Not only did he believe in working hard, he believed in taking the time to admire and appreciate.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home with family to receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Floral Haven's Rose Chapel with Pastor Randy Jackson officiating.
