Bill James Moon's Obituary
Bill James Moon, age 93, passed away on May 4th, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by his caring family. Born on November 29, 1930, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bill was the son of Alanzo Moon and Louise (Blackwell) Moon.
Bill’s life was marked by his unwavering commitment to the Navy. As a Navy veteran, he carried the Navy way throughout his entire life. His discipline, determination, and strong will were evident in everything he did. Bill was an early riser, always dressed and ready to take on the day. He rarely lingered in his pajamas or sat in front of a TV. Instead, he embraced life with vigor and purpose.
In addition to his military service, Bill was a skilled electrician and a dedicated teacher. He imparted his knowledge by teaching HVAC courses, sharing his expertise with others. Later, he opened his own HVAC business, serving countless individuals in his community. Bill’s commitment to excellence extended beyond his family; it reached those he served through his business.
Above all, Bill cherished his family. His love for them knew no bounds, and he held them close to his heart. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we remember his legacy of service, resilience, and devotion.
