Billy McConnell's Obituary
Billy Wayne McConnell, 80, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in a Tulsa hospital. He was born November 22, 1939 in Vian, Oklahoma to his parents, Elmer Charles McConnell and Bertha Mae Noel McConnell. He married the love of his life, Mariam McConnell on September 24, 1959 and they shared in over 45 wonderful years together before her passing in 2005.
Billy is survived by three children, Naomi Cooper and husband Gary of Coweta, Oklahoma, Jim McConnell and wife Kim of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Joel McConnell and wife Amy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; five siblings, Charles McConnell of Gore, Oklahoma, Gary McConnell and wife Rhonda of Oklahoma, Bonnie Terrell of Weber Falls, Oklahoma, Alice Applewhite of Stilwell, Oklahoma and Emma Risley and husband Robert of Stilwell, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Bertha McConnell; his wife, Mariam McConnell; four siblings, Clyde McConnell, Susie McConnell, Mike McConnell and Lahoma Casinger.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Vian Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma.
