Billy Allen Buster's Obituary
On Saturday, October 10 2020, in the early morning hours, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, called Bill Buster home. Bill was a faithful member of Church on the Move for 28 years. He was also a friendly face as a greeter at Walmart for over 15 years in the later part of his life. He was an Army veteran of the Korean war and was deeply patriotic. He was born on September 19,1934 in Fairport, IA, the son of Harold and Fern Buster.
Bill is survived by his wife, Gloria J. (Reilly) Buster of 60 years and their 6 children, 14 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.Michael Buster of Roseburg, Oregon, wife, Lisa, children, Josiah and Alex; Peggy Hogaboom of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, husband, Henry, children, Dereck (wife, Maureen), Nicholas (wife Jessica), and Adam (wife Saige); grandchildren, Edison, Kathryn, Tate, Margo, Alec, Alivia, and Aven
Barbara Yeats of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, husband, Chris, children, Haley Albright (husband, JT), Justin Tackett, and Jackson Yeats; Anna Dewan of Tulsa, Oklahoma, husband, Frank, children, Steven (wife, Jordyn), Wyatt and Luke; grandchildren, Riley, and Weston; James “Jimmy” Buster of Tulsa, Oklahoma, wife, Kesha, children, Saige, Sasha and Samuel; Rebekah Schenck of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, husband, Otto; sister, Mary Butcher of Muscatine, Iowa; brother, Jerry (wife, Jane) Buster of San Antonio, Texas.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Fern Buster; brothers, Melvin Buster, Robert Buster; sisters, Betty (Buster) Wildt, and Cleta Mae ”Kitty” (Buster) Strause.
A celebration of life service will be held November 14, 2020 9:00 am at Church on the Move (one eighty building).
