Sonny was a kind soul who I will miss very much. He always made me laugh and no matter how far in between our visits were it was like we talked everyday. I know you are in Heavenly Paradise teaching everyone how to ski.💜

SONNY HOLLADAY
It is with great, great sadness we recognize the passing of Sonny Holladay. June 11,1951 – August 12, 2022
Sonny was the truest of friends! We met in 1992 at try outs for the Sandia Peak Ski School. Since then Sonny has been part of our Family. All of us. Me, Jane, James and Molly and Marissa. A holiday without Sonny was almost empty. We shared many Thanksgivings, July Fourths, and of course Birthdays together. And many days in between.
Like his name-sake, he was always ready with a smile and kind word and SUNNY disposition. He had a Huge Heart. He just made everyone feel good.
Yes …. we were ski friends - and Sonny was a very powerful skier. But he was much more to the Wilson Family. He was just plain fun to be around.
Sonny had an enduring love affair with Vail Mountain and teaching skiing there, for over thirty years. He loved that place. He loved his clients. Even devoting almost thirty days in the 2022 season.
Sonny, you leave a BIG hole in our hearts. We LOVE you. And we will miss you.
May every day in the Spirit World be a POWDER Day! God Bless you Sonny Holladay!
Sonny will be dearly missed. He was a kind, humble, good man. Rest in peace Sonny.
Sonny is not only a nice guy; he cares about everyone he encounters. Working with him for the last five years has been my pleasure. He was a stellar civil servant and served our native beneficiaries well. RIP Sonny, we will miss you. Pam Jurgensen, Dept. of the Interior
