Billy Marion Hoover's Obituary
Billy Marion Hoover, 94 of Jenks, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, March 31 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a struggle with kidney disease. Born in Rogers, Arkansas his family moved to Tulsa when Billy was in grade school and he remained there until his death. Billy preceded in death by his sister Betty Gladden is survived by his wife and soul mate of 70 years, Alma Hoover of Jenks, Oklahoma; Son Craig and daughter-in-law Terrie Hoover of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Daughter Teresa and son-in-law Michael Williams; Granddaughter Jourdan and husband Landon Huett; Grandson Kramer Lov-ich; and Great Grandchildren Kai and Knox Lovich all of Frisco, Texas and Emma Aguirre of Plano, Texas as well as several nieces and nephews. Billy was a naval veteran of World War II and a retired draftsman with Atlantic Richfield. His love of airplanes pushed him to acquire his pilot license where he spent many hours hanging out at the local airstrip in Tulsa. Billy’s greatest joy was his two grandchildren Jourdan and Kramer. He was blessed to have three great-grandchildren who have been a big part of his life in carrying on the family traditions. Billy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, son, and friend. We will miss him dearly. Viewing 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Thursday, April 8, Floral Haven Funeral Home. Graveside service 3:00 pm. Friday, April 9, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
