Jefferson, Billy Antwan's Obituary
Billy Antwan Jefferson, affectionately known as "Superman," passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 26. Born on April 5, 2000, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Billy brought light, kindness, and inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Billy was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Kathy, and his father, Billy Jefferson, who were the foundation of his life and values. He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Kenneth Harrell, who continues to carry Billy's memory with love and pride.
Billy was homeschooled by his devoted mother, Kathy, and proudly earned his high school diploma in 2018. He grew into a young man known for his open heart, gentle soul, and genuine concern for others. Billy had a rare gift for making people feel seen and cared for-always asking how others and their families were doing, and truly listening to the answers.
Billy had an unconditional love for Superman—movies, comics, and memorabilia—and to those who loved him, he truly embodied that heroic spirit. While he admired Superman on screen, Billy showed us every day what real strength looked like: kindness, perseverance, and belief in the possible. He taught those around him that even when something seemed impossible, it never truly was.
He cherished life's simple joys-spending time with his best friend Monty, enjoying good home-cooked Southern-style meals, sipping vanilla milkshakes, going to the movies, celebrating his birthdays, and never being without his favorite Louisiana hot sauce. These moments brought him happiness, and his joy was contagious.
Billy held deep appreciation for the friends who cared for and supported him throughout his life. He shared a special bond with Cory Archibald and many others who stood by him each day. Billy looked up to them, valued their presence, and cared for them deeply. He also cherished the time he spent with his best friend, Monty, whose companionship brought him comfort, laughter, and joy.
Billy touched countless lives through his sincerity, compassion, and unwavering warmth.
He grew each day, teaching others alongside him, and reminding everyone to carry themselves with an open heart and an open mind. Though his time with us was far too short, his impact will live on in the many lives he touched.
