Bill Paul Miller's Obituary
Billy “Bill” Paul Miller went home to be with Jesus on May 9, 2026, at the age of 88.
Bill was born to Paul and Gearldine Miller (Langley) on March 17, 1938, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a child, he enjoyed visiting his grandparents’ farm and spending time with his cousins. Bill went to Daniel Webster High School and graduated in 1956.
Bill met his first wife, Joan Holtz, in high school and they married in 1959. Their first daughter, Karen, was born in 1963. Their second daughter, Janice, was born in 1964. They divorced in 1972.
Bill met his second wife, Nancy Smith, and her daughter Kimberly in January 1974. They were married in September 1974. Bill adopted Kimberly as his daughter three years later in 1977 when she was five years old. They spent 52 wonderful years together.
In addition to being a loving father, Bill worked as a manager for Sears, Roebuck and Co. before a serious back injury. Bill completed his career as a manager for QuikTrip Corporation. He retired in 2006 after 30 years of service. Throughout his life, he held an unwavering faith in God.
Bill joins his parents, Paul and Gearldine Miller, and his grandparents, in Heaven.
Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy, daughters Karen Tuel (Rick) of Bentonville AR, Janice Vails of Kiefer, and Kim Lee (Jeff) of Tulsa; grandchildren Nathan Tuel(Kaitlyn), Carolyn Holman(Ian), Kaitlin Tuel, Mathew Tuel (Kate), Kristin George (Daniel), Hannah Persenaire (Adam), Geoffrey Tuel, George Tuel, Miranda Oathout, Aaron Oathout(Cailee), Melissa Vails, Matthew Lee, Connor Lee (Marica), and Gracyn Lee; great-grandchildren Brielle and Kyler Holman, Theodore and Everett Lee
Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, from 5:00PM-7:00PM. Services will follow on Friday, May 15th, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the Floral Haven Chapel.
God is still on the throne and He is in control.
