Billy Joe Riggins, age 79 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on December 24, 2011 in Tulsa. He was born on August 13, 1932 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Carrol and Vada (Cato) Riggins. Billy Joe proudly served his country with the United States Navy. He worked as a truck driver before retiring. Billy Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Lois E. Riggins; parents, Carrol and Vada Riggins; and one brother, J.W. Riggins. He is survived by his daughter, Starlin Riggins and husband David; grandchildren: Tabitha Dean and her husband James, Michael Jason Fidler and his wife Cheri; great grandchildren: Nathan Applegate, Jacobb Applegate, Aaron Applegate, Haylee Dean, Michael Justin Fidler; nieces: Jeanette, Kathy, Johnnie, and Ruth; and numerous other family members. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011, 3:00 PM in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with interment following at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
