Billy spent his early years in Nicut, OK with his grandparents, then his father and stepmother, Ruby, until they moved to Moscow, KS where he learned to drive on the farm. Billy was divorced during this time, raising four children on his own. He met his wife Barbara in Spokane WA who was a single mother of four. They married and she moved her family to Tulsa and one year later added one more child. Billy worked for Tom Inman Trucking for twenty-two years where he was a driver and trained new drivers for the company, including his wife. Stoney and Barbie Doll began working for John Christner Trucking around 1985, where they remained until retirement, earning multiple awards for safe driving and driver of the year.
