Blanche Lankford's Obituary
Blanche H. Lankford was born on April 3, 1925, to Lena and Thad Harper in Clinton, Arkansas. After working as a Rosie the Riveter, a boilermaker, in San Francisco, California, during World War II, she married Clyde 'Pete' Lankford, who predeceased her. Blanche worked as a banker until her retirement. She is survived by her sister, Melba Williams and her husband, Lindy, of Roseville, California, and their daughter, Debbie Marcoux and her husband Jim; her sister-in-law Betty Sue Dunnigan and her husband Ronnie, and their son Max Dunnigan and his wife, Dana. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral Service to be held 3:00 p.m., Monday November 19, 2012 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
