Blanche L. Wilson's Obituary
Blanche L. Wilson, 100 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, July 23, 2021 in Glenpool, Oklahoma. She was born February 25, 1921 in Jennings, Oklahoma to her parents, Fred A. Lauener and Hester Portwood Lauener. On November 7, 1940 she took the hand of James Woodrow Wilson and they were joined in Holy Wedlock for over 62 years before his passing on August 5, 2005.
Blanche is survived by her two children, Brent Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Brenda Fienning and her husband David of Bixby, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Tracy Robertson and her husband Tom of Jenks, Oklahoma, Brooke Forgione and her husband Andrew of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kelsey Veldstra and her husband Jeff of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Brannon Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six great-grandchildren, Bailey and Paige Robertson of Jenks, Oklahoma, and Mackenzie Forgione, Dax Veldstra, Drew Veldstra and Ivy Veldstra all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Hester Lauener; her husband, James Woodrow Wilson and her three siblings, Bernice Wasson, Evelyn Williamson and Ruth Kintsel.
Visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Services will be private.
