I am saddened by hearing of Mr. Williams passing. He was Coach Williams to me, having devoted hundreds and hundreds of hours of his life to coaching baseball and football. He impacted lots of boys through the time he spent instructing us how to properly throw and hit a baseball, and then later, how to properly block and tackle when we started playing tackle football in 7th grade. Along the way Coach Williams taught a lot about life, when to toughen up and push hard, and when it was OK to take a break. He was a big man and when Coach gave you an instruction you knew he meant what he said. But, he was also a very caring man and you always knew he cared about you as an individual. He had a lasting impact in my life. Mark, I know you will miss your Dad very much. I pray for your comfort and peace in days to come. With love and respect. Jim Holder
