Bobbie Hughes' Obituary
Bobbie Joyce Hughes, 83, was born on February 13, 1934 in Texas and passed away on September 6, 2017 in Owasso, Oklahoma.Bobbie was known for her extensive collection of roosters that she gathered from all over the world. She often enjoyed keeping busy with puzzles, crocheting, painting and coloring, and attending garage sales and flea markets. She had a special place in her heart for going to church and serving the Lord. But, most of all, Bobbie loved her family and cherished getting to spend time with and cooking for them, especially her children, grandchildren, and her little dog, Poncho.Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, William Levi and Mary Lee Welcher; sisters Beth Boyd, Polly Lewis, Elizabeth Ferich, and Janette Ewing; brother Harold Welchel; and nephew Richard Ewing.She is survived by daughter Sherry and husband Tommy Goodner; daughter Linda and husband Mike Cooper; sons William Flowers, Clint Flowers, Robert Garrett, Terry Garrett, and Lonnie Hughes; special friends Daina Licastri and Shelly Burris; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren; and her best friend Poncho the chihuahua.Visitation will take place on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 5 pm – 8 pm.Services will be held on at 3 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Floral Haven Chapel.
