Bobby Ferguson's Obituary
Bobby Lee Ferguson entered heavens gates surrounded by his loving family Saturday, September 29, 2018. Bobby was preceded in death by sisters Augusta Goetz, Wichita, KS and Elva Cagle Skiatook, OK; brothers Thomas Levi Tulsa, OK and Billy Lee Haskell, OK. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years, Seletha Rattlingourd Ferguson; sister Delena Wilson Barling, AR; son Bobby D. Ferguson, Tahlequah, OK; daughter Kathy Upton, Broken Arrow, OK; granddaughters Jyme Lowe, Tahlequah, OK and Jacky Winters OKC, OK; grandson Cody Shepherd, Porter, OK. As well as 6 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobby was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1954 and proudly served his country stationed in Germany as a military police, and as a guard for top secret war heads and numerous other military installations. Upon returning from the service Bobby worked as a truck driver for Lee Way Motor Freight for 35 years, and was very proud of the fact that his whole tenure at Lee Way was totally accident free! He also drove a school bus for Briggs School for 12 years. Services will be held at Floral Haven Chapel in Tulsa, OK. Officiated by Pastor Ron Spradlin Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 3pm and will be laid to rest at Floral Haven cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Deckard, Albert Shade, Mike Shade, Ed Haworth, Gary Dilbeck and Rick Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers are Archie Martin, Gary Rackley, David Rackley, and Kenneth Bradley. We would also like to give a special thanks to Hospice of the Cherokee for there excellent care and service.
