Bobby Eugene Gillean, age 92, a resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life Sunday, October 20, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bobby was born April 21, 1932 to William Orvel and Eva Opal (Campbell) Gillean in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Bobby Eugene Gillean was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and patriarch of the Gillean family, known for his positivity and charm. He had a knack for storytelling and teaching, often imparting valuable life lessons that would surface unexpectedly later on. Bobby thrived in social settings, effortlessly captivating crowds and sharing his expertise in sales, which contributed to his success. He was a dedicated father to Steve and Tim, instilling in them a positive outlook on life. In his later years, he embraced leather tooling, creating various handcrafted items. Bobby's vibrant spirit and warmth left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Bobby is survived by his sons: Tim Gillean and husband Sujay Sarkar, and Steve Gillean and wife Paula; grandchildren: Scott Gillean and wife Tracy, Mike Gillean and wife Dyan, David Gillean and wife Alicia, and Daniel Gillean; great-grandchildren: Cole Gillean and wife Reina, and Cora Gillean; and sister: Markie Gillean.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents: William and Eva Gillean; and wife: Peggy Gillean.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:30 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
