Bobby E Mathis loving husband,son, brother, father and grandfather of Broken Arrow, OK (formally of Wyandotte Michigan) passed away Sunday December 1st 2013 at age 66.Bobby was born on August 24th 1947 in Isabella Tennessee to Robert Edward (deceased) and Freda Lou Mathis. Husband of forty-seven years to Darlene Sue Mathis (Zaran) and her parents Frank Zaran and Betty Johnston both deceased, Brother to Tommy Mathis and wife Patty of Rockwood Michigan, brother to Sherry and Dave Abrell of Sarasota Florida. He also leaves behind 3 loving children Brian Mathis and wife Teresa, Jamie Bender, and Bobby Mathis. Four grandchildren Kinzy, Erika, Katlin and Zachary. Loving family to mother in law Nobi Zaran, brother and sister in law Rich and Pam Bertchinger, Ray and Cindy Heinbokel, Danny and Mary Johnston, Frank and Anne Zaran, Dave and Lori Zaran, Donny Johnston, Joey Johnston, Thomas and Alison Johnston, Debbie Chavon (deceased), Robby Johnston (deceased) as well as several nieces and nephews.He attended school in Wyandotte Michigan while meeting the love of his life Darlene Zaran. He performed with several bands in the Detroit area before relocating to Oklahoma. Bobby continued his music while working at Ford glass plant.
