Bobby Joe Shaw, 83, passed from this life on May 2, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bobby was born on October 20, 1929 in Albion, Oklahoma to James Monroe and Nora (Cannady) Shaw. Bobby met and married Alta Rind on August 15, 1950 in Mena, Arkansas and they shared 62 memorable years together. He retired from the U.S. Navy. Bobby is preceded in deth by his parents; and two sisters, Mildred and Lillie. He is survived by his loving wife, Alta Shaw; children, Debbie Hughes and husband, Vernon, Dianem Mudge and husband, Ken, and Darrel Shaw; grandchildren, Kevin Hughes, Renee Meisel and husband, Seth, David Hughes, Beverly Greer and husband, Danny, Doug Hughes, and Michelle Mudge; 6 great grandchildren; and sisters, Violet Jenks and husband, Leo and Jimmie Lee. Visitation will be held 2:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2013 Floral Haven Funeral Home and a Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.
