Bonnie Curtis Davis, 78, was born on April 16, 1940 in Stroud, Oklahoma and passed away on February 10, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating high school, Bonnie married her husband of 59 years, Bill Davis. She was a very hard and dedicated worker, and for many years had to work opposite shifts of Bill in order to for one or the other to be at home and raise their three girls. Bonnie worked at Liberty Glass, OTASCO, and Pep Boys. At Liberty Glass, she would sort out defective bottles on the line- bottles which were still so hot, that her fingertips eventually burned off. She joked that she could be a robber and not get caught. At OTASCO, she was the bookkeeper. She knew the customers very well, and they all liked to come in to talk to “Ms. Bonnie”. Even the employees, including Charles Danley and Fred Willis, were like extended family. She was loved by all who knew her.Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Millard and Melzina Cupps; adoptive father Ben Curtis; birth mother Hazel Sprueill; daughter Dawn; and many other close relations. She is survived by husband Bill; daughters Vicki, Toni, and Rebecca; sister Melissa; sister in law Dorothy; and a great many beloved nieces and nephews.
