David, I'm so sorry that your beautiful mom has passed on. I wish I could have been there this morning, but I did watch online and was so moved by the touching memories and descriptions of her and what she meant to so many. And I agree that she not only was beautiful but had that gorgeous head of hair! I really wish I had been able to meet her back in the day when I was working there at Rusty's. I have a feeling we would have really hit it off. I pray that you and the family are comforted by all these wonderful memories that you and all those that knew her are taking with you today. I met Sheila and Pastor first and Shelia became my best friend. Then I met her sweet mother Bonnie.
I didn't have any family around me.So Bonnie started inviting me to all the family gatherings making me a part of the family. The first Christmas was so amazing. Wayne always picked on me and Bonnie always took up for me.You could just feel the love at her house.She really loved her family. She loved watching her grrandchildren open the gifts she had gotten them. She always made people feel so special and loved. She always had a special place in my heart. I send my love and prayers to all the family.
I miss spending time with you guys. So glad she's with Jesus now.

My heart is sad to lose such a sweet friend and mentor but also happy to know she is free of pain and in the presence of Jesus. My main memory of Bonnie’s is our trip to Santa Fe and all the fun we had! I am praying for you Shelia and David and Cindy along with all the family. I know how hard it is to lose a parent but pray that God will keep you in his living hands. Love to you all.
