Bonnie Lee Tesson's Obituary
Bonnie Lee Tesson, 85, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed peacefully from this life on June 10, 2026. She was born on September 9, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri, to John Monroe and Blanche Nellie (Black) Brooks.
On October 20, 1956, Bonnie married the love of her life, Richard F. Tesson, and together they built a beautiful life and family. A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Bonnie poured her heart into caring for her home and those she loved. She found joy in tending her lawn, growing flowers, exploring flea markets, and filling her kitchen with the comforting aromas of her pies and cakes.
After their youngest son, Justin, graduated from high school, Bonnie enjoyed some traveling, though most of her adventures with Richard took place during his military service. Her warmth, creativity, and dedication to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Richard F. Tesson, Sr.; sons, Richard Tesson, Jr. and his wife Mary, and Justin Tesson and his fiancée Julie Ballew; and grandchildren, Stephen Tesson, Matthew Tesson, and Tyler Tesson. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Tesson, and sisters, Frieda Tackett and Joyce Brooks.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, followed by committal at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Veterans Field of Honor Phase II Pad.
Bonnie’s life was a testament to love, family, and simple joys, and her memory will forever be cherished.
