Bonnie Marie Vining-Banasky's Obituary
Bonnie Marie Vining-Banasky, age 83 of Bixby, OK died on November 8, 2015 of post surgical complications. She was born on March 15, 1932 in Kansas City, Kansas to Rollie Delbert Mogle and Linnie Lorena Edmonson. She grew up in Piper, KS with one brother and three sisters. She married her first husband William Brown Vining III (deceased) on November 19, 1950 and her second husband of ten years, George Edward Banasky on September 15, 2005. She worked for Dunn and Bradstreet as a secretary for several years, and then opted to stay at home and raise a family. She was an accomplished pianist, poet and artist, and she loved to sew, knit and crochet. She was a Girl Scout leader, and an active member of St. Marks Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband George; daughter Vicki Brower and husband Rick, son William Vining and wife Lisa, stepson Edward Banasky and wife Barbara; grandchildren Debra Escobar, Patricia Perez, Michael Brower, Lindsay Summerlin, Lacey Vining, Bri Anna Vining, William Vining, Christian Banasky, Reagan Banasky, Tirzah Bump, Logan Banasky, Soran Banasky, Keelan Banasky, Kylah Banasky, Zyan Banasky, Verah Banasky, Bodhan Banasky; great-grand children Jade Summerlin, Elijah Summerlin, Bryna Summerlin, Gabriel Summerlin, Christian Perez, Jocelyn Perez, Zion Vining, Hamilton Banasky, Georgia Banasky, Allie Banasky, Eva Banasky, Taylia Bump; sisters Mary Olson, Connie Fryatt, Donna Sell. She was predeceased by Bill, her husband of 42 years, her brother Billie Mogle and long-time friend Peggy Banasky.A Memorial Fund has been established at St. Marks Methodist Church in her name.Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 11th, Floral Haven Funeral Home.Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 12th, Saint Mark’s United Methodist Church, Tulsa.
