Brandon Lee Riggs' Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brandon Lee Riggs, a beloved resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who left this world on August 28, 2023, at the age of 46. Born on May 12, 1977, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brandon was the cherished son of Michael E. Riggs and Brenda Joyce Clark.
Brandon's early years were spent on a farm in Broken Arrow, where he embraced the simple joys of rural life. He attended St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church in Tulsa, where he served as an acolyte, demonstrating his early commitment to his faith and community. He carried this spirit of dedication throughout his life.
Brandon's educational journey began at Cascia Hall Preparatory School, where he not only excelled in academics but also made his mark on the sports field. He was an avid athlete, participating in both baseball and football during his time at Cascia, leaving behind a legacy of sportsmanship and teamwork.
After his time at Cascia Hall, Brandon pursued higher education at the University of Tulsa, where he continued to shine. He earned his Master's Degree in business, a clear testament to his unyielding dedication to personal growth and success. Simultaneously, he provided mentorship to numerous football players at TU during his pursuit of an MBA.
During his college years, Brandon's outgoing and charismatic nature endeared him to many. He was actively involved in his fraternity, forging deep and enduring friendships with his fraternity brothers. His presence at social gatherings and events always lit up the room, earning him the reputation of being the life of the party.
Brandon's professional journey was equally impressive. For 15 years, he owned and operated a successful playground design company in partnership with his father. This venture showcased his entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to quality work, and ability to turn dreams into reality for children across the region.
Brandon Lee Riggs will forever be remembered for his vibrant personality, unwavering commitment to his community, and his passion for life. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and an enduring spirit that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his parents, Michael E. Riggs and Brenda Joyce Clark; his brother, Ryan Riggs M.D. and his wife, Jennifer Ann; his niece, Kylee Riggs, and a wide circle of friends and loved ones who will carry his memory in their hearts. Brandon's life may have been tragically cut short, but his impact on the lives he touched will live on for generations to come.
May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to bring comfort and joy to all who knew him.
