Brenda Burrow's Obituary
Brenda Louise {Drevs} Burrow age 73 passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at home after a lengthy battle with ALS.
She was born on February 23, 1949, in Hayes, Kansas. She was the daughter of Walter and Gweneth {Markley} Drevs. After graduating from East Central High School, Brenda went on to Northeastern State University on a scholarship that she received for her accomplishment in playing the flute.
Between the years of 1968 and 1978 Brenda had 2 brief marriages that ended in divorce. But was blessed with 2 sons, John in 1968 and Michael in 1974. During this time Brenda also lived overseas in Holland, Singapore, Italy and Dubai.
After returning to the states Brenda supported herself and her children by working as a Mortgage Banker, which she continued to do until her retirement.
At the age of 44 Brenda finally found the ONE. The ONE that would be by her side as she took her final breath. Brenda and Lynden {Lynn} Lee Burrow were married on December 4,1993. And remained married until her passing.
Brenda had a huge heart and loved wholeheartedly. She would never be seen without her makeup on and her hair done. She loved a clean house, butterflies, plants, having her nails done and the color purple! But most importantly, she loved her family and her pets. Over the almost 30 years that Brenda and Lynn were together their house was never without several dogs, cats, fish and even at different times birds and reptiles.
Brenda will be truly missed and leaves us with some unforgettable memories. She was at peace at the time of her death and was ready to see her beloved son Michael and to meet her Lord and Savior!!
Brenda is survived by her husband Lynn; her son John and {Salena} Hubbard; her grandchildren, Shane and {Leslie} Hubbard, Walter and {Amanda} Hubbard, Edward and {Olivia} Hubbard, Erika Shade, Andrew Hubbard, Rachel Hubbard, and Johnathen Hubbard; her great-grandchildren, Landon, Rhyse, Ireland, and Beckham; brothers Wes and {Deanna} Drevs and Mike and {Cindy} Drevs; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephew. Brenda is preceded in death by her son Michael Hubbard and her parents.
