Brenda Lu Jackson
Brenda Lu Jackson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 76.
Born on March 21, 1949, in Bristow, Oklahoma, Brenda was the cherished daughter of Abner D. and Mildred (Kastendieck) Bruce. She dedicated her life to education, shaping young minds as a devoted teacher whose warmth and enthusiasm left a lasting impression on generations of students.
Brenda’s vibrant spirit was evident in every aspect of her life. She found joy in the simple pleasures—gathering with friends for lively games of Bonco, cheering at football games, and spending treasured time with her family. Her social nature and infectious laughter made her the heart of every room she entered, and her kindness touched all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving sons, Bruce Gramm and Brad Gramm; her adored grandchildren, Taylor Gramm, Eli Gramm, and Lacie Gramm; her devoted sisters, Connie Travis and Rhonda Flood; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude.
Services to honor Brenda’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 13th, 2025, at First Christian Church, 2602 S Elm Place, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
Her family invites all who knew her to remember her with joy, celebrate her legacy, and hold close the warmth she brought into the world.
