Brenda Rae Rush's Obituary
Brenda Rae Rush, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on October 25th, 2023. She was 71 years old.
Born on January 8th, 1952, Brenda was the daughter of James Paul Ling and Rose Marie Ling, and the birth daughter of Minnie Lorene Jones. She grew up in a large family, with five sisters and two brothers. Brenda had a big heart and a love for art, which led her to draw and paint throughout her life. She was also known for her beautiful singing voice.
Brenda had a deep love for God and was an active member of her church. Her faith in God was at the center of her life, and she served as an inspiration to others. Brenda was a devoted mother to her children, Cristi and Gerald, and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren Taylon, Chance, Alanta, and Saul.
Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Robert Rush, as well as her parents, birth mother, older sister, Linda K. Willis, and two brothers, James Conrad Ling and James Paul Ling the II. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and her siblings Cynda Baughman, Eva Jarrett, Jayme Gastelum, Sally Thibodeaux, and Margarette Ann Price, along with a host of other family and friends who will always love and miss her.
Brenda's kind and loving spirit will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her. May she rest in peace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.
