Brent E. Fisher's Obituary
Brent Edward Fisher, 46, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, on December 2, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. He was born February 17, 1971 in Tulsa, OK to Sharon L. and James William Fisher, III.Brent lived in Tulsa most of his life, graduating from Memorial HS (1989). He also lived in San Diego, CA in the ‘90s where his love for the San Diego Chargers began. He loved music (reggae, hard rock, concerts), cooking, going to the lake where he excelled at skiing and wakeboarding, beach vacations to Florida and California and animals, especially his cat, Sabre. He was blessed with an artistic nature, could fix almost anything, and most of his adult life, he worked in the hardwood floor business, eventually forming his own company, Brentwood Floors. He was employed by Whirlpool Corp. the last year of his life. Brent was loving, sensitive, compassionate and would drop whatever he was doing to help a friend in need. He was so fortunate to have a host of friends who enriched his life in so many ways.He is survived by his mother, Sharon Fisher; dad and stepmom, Bill and Molly Fisher; brothers, Bradley J. (Holly) Fisher and Jamie Fisher; Aunts, Myrna White and Nancy Lesser; Uncle, Dane Lesser; nephew and niece, Karsten J. and Riley E. Fisher; cousins, DeAnna White, Cristin Michael, Cheyne (Boomer) Lesser and Shaun (Lesser) Baranowski, and forever in his heart, ex-wife/soulmate, Karin Carpenter. Brent was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Bill and Minnie Fisher; maternal grandparents, Frank and Betty Lesser; and paternal great-grandmother, Hazel Lesser.Funeral Services will be held 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Floral Haven Funeral Home, 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK. A gathering of Brent’s family and friends will follow the service at the Floral Haven Family Center. Burial will be held with a private service at the family cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK. Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 8:00pm with family there from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, December 6, 2017, also at Floral Haven Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brent’s name to Oxford House of Oklahoma or your charity of choice.
