Brice Thomas Blackman's Obituary
Brice Thomas Blackman, 24, of Tulsa, died September 23, 2012. He was born May 5, 1988, in Aurora, Colorado, the son of Brent and LeAnn (Karber) Blackman. He attended Jenks schools, and graduated from Jenks High School in 2007. Brice had a contagious smile, and was always happy to share it. When he wasn't hard at work as a skilled worker on various construction sites, you could find him playing his guitar, listening to music, or flinging a Frisbee with friends. Brice is survived by his parents, Brent and LeAnn Blackman of Tulsa; his sister, Whitney (Kelly) Largent, and niece, Brooklyn, of Dallas; half sister Cara (John) Jordan of Austin; he also leaves maternal great grandmother, Leona Karber and grandmother, Donna Karber, both of St. John’s, Michigan; paternal grandparents Kenneth and Mary Helen Blackman of Broken Arrow; and is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Karber. Brice touched so many lives, and was dearly loved and will be forever missed. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, September 26, from 11:00 a.m. ' 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Life Church South Tulsa, located at 7071 E. 121st, just east of Sheridan, and a reception will immediately follow. A private family interment will be held afterwards at Floral Haven cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Life Church.
