Brittani Shanen Ray's Obituary
Brittani Shanen Ray, age 33, was born on November 30, 1990, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She passed away on Thursday morning, June 6, 2024, in her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Brittani’s life was a testament to compassion, dedication, and love, traits that she shared generously with her family, friends, and the countless patients she cared for during her 15 years as a healthcare worker.
Brittani’s early years were spent in Tulsa, where she graduated from Grace Christian School. She furthered her education at Tulsa Community College, driven by a passion for healthcare that she would carry throughout her life. For the past 2½ years, Brittani served as a Nurse Tech at St. Francis Hospital, the same place where her life began. Her family and friends will always remember her as a beacon of kindness and strength, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the well-being of those in her life.
Brittani was preceded in death by her grandparents Wayne and Bonnie Hudson, grandparents A.J. and Wanda Ray, aunt and uncle Danny and Cathy Chambers, aunt Mary Ray, uncle Terry Brawley, aunt and uncle Allen and Tammy Sweeney, and cousin Tyler Brawley.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Jimmy and Sheila Ray of Broken Arrow, and her cherished son, Logan Harmon, also of Broken Arrow. Logan was the center of Brittani’s world, and she found immense joy in every moment spent with him.
Brittani is also survived by her aunt and uncle David and Connie Ray of Collinsville, aunt and uncle David and Debbie Hudson of Broken Arrow, aunt Cyndi Brawley of Tulsa, several cousins, and a multitude of friends who became family.
Brittani’s love for her family, friends, and colleagues at St. Francis Hospital was evident in everything she did. Her caring nature left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Brittani Shanen Ray was a light in this world, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. May she rest in eternal peace.
