Brittany A. Harrison July 6, 1988 – January 11, 2015 On the morning of January 11, 2015 at approximately 9:50 a.m., Brittany Harrison lost her yearlong battle to Cervical Cancer at Saint John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brittany was 26 years old. Brittany was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 6, 1988 to her parents Elaine Collins and Arthur Harrison. Brittany was a woman with many attributes. Strength being one that stands out most. Brittany graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 2006. After graduation, Brittany chose to follow her passion for cooking and attended Platt College where she received her Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and later followed her dream of becoming a Chef where she worked at the Hard Rock Casino. On June 12, 2008 Brittany gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Dax McClain. Brittany’s love and devotion to her son was an amazing part of who she was. Brittany enjoyed spending time with her son by taking him to the Tulsa Zoo, the Jenks Aquarium, Incredible Pizza in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the park. Every moment she had with Dax was when she was at her happiest. In her spare time, Brittany loved listening to music, cooking, hanging out with her friends, and simply living life to the fullest. Brittany’s charisma touched the lives of many people, she always knew how to light up a room. Although her life was cut short, her memory will forever live on in those who love her.Brittany is survived by: her son Dax McClain, Mother, Elaine Collins, Step Father, Gene Collins, Father, Arthur Harrison, Step Mother, Kim Harrison, Sister, Nicole Horak, Brother-in-Law, Chris Horak, and nephew, Topher Horak.
