Bruce Bryson's Obituary
Bruce A. Bryson, 57, of Broken Arrow, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. He was born in Iowa City, Iowa on April 9, 1957, the son of Richard and Jessie (Wedel) Bryson. On October 6, 2012, he married Erin Bryson, in Broken Arrow.Bruce had been a house framer and then a salesman for Mill Creek Lumber for 17 years. A job he very much loved. A loving father, he adored his daughter Sarah and always had a twinkle in his eye when he spoke of her.. He loved his pets, especially his Walter, a Dachshound who stole his heart.He loved a good joke, and when telling one that was off color, his reply would be “I ain’t had all the framer beat out of me yet”. He loved his wife and family and to him they were everything. He had a special place in his heart for his neighbors Rick & Marion Romine. Rick & Bruce became the neighborhood guard, always looking out for everyone, especially the kids. He enjoyed living in Broken Arrow even though his heart was in Midtown Tulsa.Bruce will be mised by all that knew him.Bruce is survived by his wife, parents, daughter, Sarah Ann Bryson, and her mother, Patricia Kroblin, both of Tulsa, sister, Abbey Jones, and her husband, Bruce, and numerous other family members and friends.Memorial donations may be made to the Tulsa ASPCA, 2910 Mohawk Blvd, Tulsa, OK 74110.A private memorial service will be held by the family.
