Bruce Roger Solom's Obituary
Bruce Roger Solom, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away July 27, 2019 at the age of 68. He was born July 19, 1951 to Kenneth Solom and Ella (Treichel) Olson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He served in the United States Navy for 4 years and an additional 6 years in the Air National Guard. He graduated top of his class from Spartan School of Aeronautics and Technology and worked for American Airlines for 34 years until his retirement in 2012. He loved classic cars, traveling, golfing and playing softball and would read the newspaper from cover to cover daily. But most of all he loved to spend time with his love of his life for 48 years, Linda and the rest of his family. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Solom and Ella Olson and step-father, Julean Olson.Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Solom of the home; two children, Sarah Wolfe and husband, Larry of Tulsa, Andrew Solom and wife, Nicole of Ft. Worth, TX; siblings, Jean Gabrick and husband, Jim of Baxter, MN, Kenneth Solom and wife, Sandy of Baxter, MN; grandchildren, Owen and Evan Wolfe, Isabelle and Landon Solom and Adelyn Wolfe; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.Family will greet friends Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
