Brunelle H. Harwell's Obituary
Brunelle Hinson Harwell, 92, passed from this life on July 18, 2015 in Claremore, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hazlehurst, GA April 8, 1923 to John and Laura Hinson. She had 7 siblings: five sisters, Dora, Lula, Juanelle, Martha and Arlow and two brothers: Lee Wilson and William Grant.. She graduated from an all women’s’ college, Freeman Business College in Albany, GA with a degree in Mathematics. . She began with Telex in 1965 and was a supervisor within Quality Assurance and retired in 1988 from Memorex/Telex . A great source of pride was attaining government clearance and NASA certification for work on applications on the Lunar Landing Module. She was married to and preceded in death by the late: Henry (Jack) Richards and Earl Harvey Harwell. She is also preceded by her parents; two brothers and four sisters. Brunelle is survived by three children, Barbara A. Hite, Harold L. Richards and wife, Debbie and John W. Richards and wife, Camey; 12 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren and sister, Martha. Her great loves in life were family, friends , fishing, flower and vegetable gardening, nature and traveling. She enjoyed volunteering for Meal on Wheels and the VFW. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Good Shepherd Hospice. Visitation will be 3:00 PM-8:00 PM Monday, July 20, 2015 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
