Bryan William Bloxham's Obituary
Bryan William Bloxham, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away July 1, 2019 at the age of 78.Born and raised in England, the son of Francis and Phyllis (Samuels) Bloxham, Bryan spent his first 18 years living in and around Romford, Essex. He then moved to South England until the early 1980’s when he and his two sons travelled across the pond to the United States.Early on, Bryan worked in the TV and radio repair sector. In 1967, he began his 41-year career in the flight simulator industry, where he started out at Singer Link Miles and retired from Flight Safety. He not only took pride in his work, but truly relished the friendships he made along the way.True to his British heritage, Bryan had a deep love for the Royal Family. He also had a passion for airplanes, classic cars, motor sports, racing remote controlled cars, football (UK version), collecting stamps/coins/beanie babies, and movies from all genres. He was extremely skilled at calligraphy, rebuilding classic cars, and home renovations. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.We all know how much Bryan loved anything with an engine. Anyone who wishes to honor his life is invited to rev their engine at a stoplight, take in a Formula 1 or NASCAR race, or simply admire a classic car – he would have loved that!He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Phyllis Bloxham.Survivors include his sons, Mathew “Matt” Bloxham of ABQ and Jeremy “Jay” Bloxham of BA; grandchildren, Chloe and Logan Bloxham of ABQ, Shane Bloxham of Tulsa and Alexander Bloxham of BA; daughter-in-law, Lisa Bloxham of BA; sister, Shelia Gilbert; brother-in-law, Arthur Gilbert; brother, Peter Bloxham and sister-in-law, Kay Bloxham, all of the UK.Services are pending.
