Buck N. Avers' Obituary
. Buck N. Avers was born July 19, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Arthur and Leola (Mabray) Avers of Bixby, Oklahoma. He went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2012 at his home in Wellston, Oklahoma with his family at his side. He married Cecilia M. Tibbets on June 3, 1960 in Jenks, Oklahoma. He was proud to be a 32nd degree member of the Fraternal Order of the Masons, Lodge 539 of Moore, Oklahoma. He retired from the Paint Shop at OU Health Sciences Center. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping at the lake with his family. He was preceded in his death by his parents and siblings. Survivors include his wife, Cecilia of the home; two children: son, Tracy Avers and his wife Maria, of Wellston, Oklahoma; and daughter, Tina Bell and her husband Curtis, of Grove, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren and one on the way: Kristi Avers and Abbi, of Wellston, Oklahoma; Kyle and Alisha Avers, Travis and Tyler, of Lawton, Oklahoma; Kayla Avers and great grandson Kadin Avers soon to be born of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Jennifer and Adam Arms, Caleb and Cody, of Decatur, Arkansas; Carl Bell of Eugene, Oregon; Lance and Tiffany Bell, of Carney, Oklahoma, and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday May 17th, 2012 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Brother Robin Foster of Immanuel Baptist Church in Perkins, Oklahoma officiating. Internment is near family at the Masonic area of the Floral Haven Cemetary, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church, Perkins, Oklahoma.
