The most prominent memory I have of Dale occurred the morning Grandpa Tuggle died. I was 7 or 8 at the time. We had come up from Louisiana and were staying in a guest bedroom at Dale and Naomi's old house. When I awoke that morning, I remember hearing weeping. I knew then what had happened. My Mom and Naomi had already left and it was just Dale, myself and my little brother in their house that morning. Dale walks in and broke again as he told me, " Son, Grandpa Tuggle passed away." I will never forget that. Dale was a very loving person whom I will remember as one of my closest uncles.
