Byron Blaine Roberts' Obituary
Byron Blaine Roberts, 61, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on October 2, 2021. He joined the Lord peacefully surrounded by family and friends.
Byron was born on March 23, 1960, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Raymond and Snowie Roberts. Growing up he was active in many sports such as baseball, football, and hockey. After graduating from Memorial Highschool in 1978, he attended Tulsa Junior College, Hendrix College, and Northeastern State University. He made many friends in sports and school which carried into his adulthood.
He had experience in many fields throughout his working career. He excelled in direct sales and marketing, owned Rib Bones BBQ, and even drove semi-trucks and school buses. He was well known for his excellent BBQ and his funny school bus stories.
Byron was known for cracking open a cold beer and cooking for those he loved. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, and sitting on his truck bed during hot summer days.
Although Byron is gone from this life, his memories will live on through his friends and family. He will be remembered for his character, heart, love for life, and willingness to serve the Lord.
Byron was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by sister Bronwyn Roberts, his children Madison and Ethan Roberts, and his two grandsons.
