C Aubria Cross' Obituary
Aubria Kitchens Cross was born on New Year’s Eve 1928 to Pauline and Jess Kitchens in Hope, Arkansas. She died on October 29, 2022 at the age of 93. She is survived by her brother Jesse Lee Kitchens, Jr. of California and her sister Lynne Strong of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to her lifetime sweetheart, Arley Cross, for almost 72 years before his death in 2019. They lived in Texarkana, Arkansas for several years where their two daughters were born, Sherry and Susan. Then Arley was transferred to Tulsa and Aubria created a loving home here for the family. She devoted her life to raising her children and was thrilled to become a grandmother of five and great grandmother of 17. When it came time to send Sherry and Susan to college, she began her career as an elementary school secretary to help with that. Then she fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning her own retail store when she opened The Gingerbread House Kids Shop in Mall 31 in Tulsa.
Our Mother / Grandmother / Gaga Mommy left behind so many family members who loved her: Sherry Cross Price, husband Cliff, and their children Nathan Price & wife Julia and McKenzie Price Siebert & husband Joe; Susan Cross Mullins, husband Steve, and their children Christy Mullins McDonald & husband Andy, Jenny Mullins LaBahn & husband Jacob, and Jeremy Mullins & wife Melissa. She was also loved by her great grandkids: Jachin, Kimberlyn, Bo, Berline, and Caleb McDonald; Jesse, Keenon, Hudson, Hannah, Liam, and Judah LaBahn; Kenley and Levi Mullins; Olivia and Owen Price; and Aiden and Quinn Siebert. They are her legacy.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022 at South Lakewood Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
