Calvin Tracy Williams' Obituary
Calvin Tracy Williams was born on July 26, 1937 and left this world on September 28, 2025 at the age of 88. Calvin is preceded in death by his son, Terry Allen Williams of Richmond, TX; parents Luther Jackson and Audie Mae Williams of Jenks, OK; siblings Charles Lee Williams and Lennis Meranda of California; and Ronnie Williams, Lela Cornell, and Mary Keys of Jenks, OK.
Calvin is survived by his wife Perri Burnett-Williams of Collinsville, OK, daughter Delina Bible and Greg Christian of Checotah, OK, and daughter-in-law Shelly Williams of Richmond, TX. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Luther Williams of Richmond, TX; Kellen Bible of Tulsa, OK; Paula and Matt Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO; and Kory and Whitney Bible of Warner, OK. His great-grandchildren include Landon Swallow, Briley and Brooks Bible, Kaden and Jett Bible, and Jaxon and Maya Johnson.
Calvin attended Jenks Public Schools and played on the 1954 undefeated football team. After graduation, Calvin served as a 2nd-class petty officer in the Navy, rigging parachutes and jumping out of airplanes. After the Navy, he became a Marine reservist and Tulsa police officer. Calvin was one of the first mounted police officers for TPD, and also served as a homicide, narcotics, and forgery detective.
His hobbies included driving horse-drawn carriages, hunting, fishing,
attending his grandchildren’s ballgames, and going to the Tulsa Zoo where he is a lifetime member. He also supported Native American reservations in South Dakota with monthly donations.
Pallbearers include Luke Williams, Kellen Bible, Kory Bible, Matt Johnson, Greg Christian, and Kevin Williams.
The visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Floral Haven Funeral Home, and the funeral service will be 10:00 AM, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make donations to the Tulsa SPCA.
